For example, length, width, weight, capacity of shot, etc. But how about accuracy? Usually only some words can describe, for example, nice accuracy or excellent accuracy. But how good and excellent they are? We are still confused. There are many factors affecting accuracy. So we understand why most manufacturers are reluctant to talk about accuracy. But we think we could try to talk about accuracy more clearly, even if we can't say it accurately.We can set some preconditions.
For example: Use JSB pellets indoor. This eliminates the difference between outdoor wind bias and pellets of different brands, and can be used as a reference value. Accordingly, we have made a precision classification for all AEA products. This classification also basically covers all levels of mass-produced PCP on the market and even the precision level of PCP in customized competitions. You can easily get a rough idea of how to choose our products according to this grading description.
First of all, we use . 22 cal JSB 1.175g pellets. Tested indoor airless target for 50 yards, 5 rounds in a group. Total Amount 10 Groups. Select the average value.
Second, we strictly follow the standard test of CTC. It's not like some tests only look at the good groups, but ignore the miss of a certain shot. That is to say, even if the four shots are in one hole, but one shot missed 2 inches away, we will still record 2 inches as the result.According to this standard, we divide the accuracy into six grades.
They are:
Pellets Group Expand within 7-10MM. Almost the peak accuracy stability of PCP air gun is enough to win competitions.
Pellets Group Expand within 10-15 mm. Top mass-produced pcp grade, Be good at hunting and competition both.
Pellets Group Expand within 25 - 15mm Upper middle level of mass-produced pcp grad, for hunting is a piece of cake
Pellets Group Expand within 35-25mm, medium level of mass-produced pcp, for hunting is enough.
We only manufacture the top four grades
Pellets Group Expand within 50-35MM, entry-level of mass-produced PCP which can support hunting
Pellets Group Expand more than 50MM, it is considered to be a failure, and the accuracy advantage of PCP and spring air gun can not be distinguished.
Someone will ask if I want to shot long range. What should I do? Don't worry, next is our special classification of long-range shoot.
Because long-range shooting is worthless when tested indoors in windless conditions. Because even if I use JSB 1.175 g pellets at 100 yards to get a good expand. But in real hunting process is not significant. Because such a light pellet at a distance of 100 yards, a small wind deviation will be far from the target. And the breeze is almost inevitable, so we think that the accuracy of long-range shooting must not be able to test light pellets indoors. It's going to be tested with heavy pellets or slugs. Only in this situation the results could have practical value.
So we're in the classification standard for long-range test. At least 2 grams of pellets should be used under 5.5mm Cal. The reason is that the weight of the pellet has not exceeded its dispersion in the 100 yard breeze.
So according to this criterion, we classify the long-range dispersion into four levels.
100 yards pellets expand within 100 MM, although the expand is not good, but small animals can not miss more than 50%. In fact, the actual success rate is higher than using a gun that spreads super good but shoots light pellets. So it began to have the value for a long-range shooting PCP.
Our sdandard 1 AEA level 100 yards pellets expand in 70-50MM, the accuracy of this air gun can almost make the rabbit level prey in the sighting mirror, is a very good long-range air gun.
